MEETING WITH TIS-HIGH VOLTAGE (12-12-03)

Location: building 275.

Subject: Installation of ion source and RFQCB high voltage at building 275.

• A message has to be put in the crane control advertising people not to use the crane over the HV cage and the experiment.
• All the experimental area will be surrounded for HV planes. It is important that these panels are very rigid (the dimension of the grid is not so important…).
• One of the door should be placed in front of the door of the HV cage for the Ion source power supplies.
• For the work to put the panels is possible to contact 77777 (electrical works).
• The standard distance between 2 HV devices in 60 kV in air is 180 mm. The distance is 600 mm to a vertical metal grid.
• In the enter of the building should already appear the warning of HV danger.
• All the equipment has to be connected to the building ground.
